component of the adverse impact on grow thin children 6 to24 months.     jafarizadeh h [1] *, habibzadeh h [2] , mohamadpor y1, khalilzadeh h1, rasoli d1, rahmani a1, ahangarzaderezaei s1, mokhtari gh [3]     received: 20 aug, 2012 accepted: 18 nov, 2012     abstract   background & aims : the growth of each child in the face of factors such as disease and nutrition is very sensitive and most sensitive measure of growth is weight. this study aimed to determine the factors adversely affecting growth in children 6 to 24 months was conducted. materials & methods: information compiled by the researcher-made questionnaire, the results from previous research and the criteria for poor growth were collected and were analyzed with spss software. descriptive statistics of variables and parameters for data analysis, inferential statistics were used. result: of the children surveyed 50.3% boys and 49.7 percent of the children were girls. gender of individuals studied was not significantly associated with poor growth. the most important variables in this study can be adversely affecting the growth of lbw, multiple nature, having reduced the number of pregnancies and breastfeeding noted. conclusion: findings could lead to improved primary health care in the age pyramid of 6 to 24 months . therefore, respecting the most effective factors on undesired growth in health care centers can prevent the related problems .   keywords : component affect , adverse growth and children.     address: nursing and midwifery faculty, urmia university of medical sciences, urmia, iran   tel: (+98) 441 2754961, 9144463917 email : [email protected]   [1] instructor of nursing, nursing and midwifery faculty. urmia university of medical scinces.  [2] assistant professor of nursing. nursing and midwifery faculty. urmia university of medical scinces.  [3] g p. sahiyeh health center maneger
